As the leader of the original “Alabama Gang” Bobby Allison’s life and career have transcended the sport of NASCAR. His accomplishments behind the wheel include 85 career NASCAR wins, (third all-time) three Daytona 500 wins (1978, 82 & 88) and the 1983 NASCAR Winston Cup Championship. With such career highlights it was inevitable that Allison would quickly be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. It was little surprise to anyone that this honor came when it was announced in October of 2010 that Allison would be a part of the Class of 2011.

Away from the track Allison has become an international racing ambassador, always willing to talk with fans, sign autographs and share the recollections of his amazing career. His passion for the sport of auto racing coupled with his genuine personality has endeared him to generations of race fans around the globe.
